My Game Collection helps you keep a personal inventory of games and related items. This page explains what information the app uses and where it is stored.

Information you provide

When you create an account, the app uses your email address and account details for sign-in and account identification. If you sign in with Google, Google supplies the information needed to authenticate your account. Your collection records may include titles, prices, notes, locations, photos, and other details you choose to enter.

Storage and use

The iPhone app stores collection data on your device. When you sign in and sync, account and collection data is stored with Firebase Authentication and Cloud Firestore so you can access it across devices. Attached photos can be included in collection records. The web app stores some preferences and pending edits in your browser. If you export a JSON backup, you control where that file is saved and shared.

Other services

The app uses Firebase services provided by Google for sign-in and sync. Optional cover search and price features request information through the app's services from external game data providers. Opening an external link or loading a selected cover image may connect your browser or device to that provider. These providers may process technical information such as your IP address under their own privacy policies.

Your choices

You can edit and export your collection in the app. You can remove collection records using the app's controls. To request help with your account or personal data, contact the developer at theodoros.barsante@gmail.com.
